Please read the following instructions before using the Flow Cup.
Always make sure to have clean hands before touching and insert your Flow Cup.
Sterilize your Flow Cup by boiling in water for 3 to 5 minutes. Holding your Flow Cup with the rod downward, drain completely and dry it.
Find a job that fits you. You can stand, sit or put one foot on the toilet. Any position works as long as you are relaxed.
Place your finger on the top edge of your Flow Cup and press the center to form a triangle. This makes the upper rim much smaller to insert.
Hold the folded cup firmly in one hand and gently insert your Flow Cup in the vagina at a right angle. Make sure the cup remains bent until it is completely inside the vagina and the stem is aligned with the vaginal opening.
Let the cup opening and check if there are wrinkles or bumps around the base. You will know if your Flow Cup is properly inserted if you can pull the rod and feel the strength of the vacuum seal.
How to remove
Make sure you have clean, dry hands. Gently pull the cup stem until you reach the base of the cup. Squeeze the base of the cup to break the vacuum seal and continue to pull gently until the cup is removed. Empty your Flow Cup in the toilet and flush it with water before inserting it again. If your periods are over, sterilize your Flow Cup by boiling in water for 3 to 5 minutes, then place it back in its case.
